TERM OF SERVICE

1. Acceptance of Terms

By contacting MREO, hiring our services, requesting a quote, submitting a form, or communicating via SMS/email, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use our services.


2. Service Overview

MREO offers service-based contracting and coordination (“Services”) which may include, but are not limited to:

Plumbing services

Home repairs

Specialized trades

Service coordination

Subcontractor management

Project support & scheduling

MREO acts as a general contractor and service coordinator, meaning licensed subcontractors may perform physical work.


3. No Guaranteed Scheduling

Scheduling windows are estimates. Subcontractors determine final scheduling based on availability. MREO does not guarantee completion dates unless stated in writing.


4. Estimates, Quotes, & Pricing

All quotes or estimates are based on information provided at the time. Pricing may change if:

Scope of work changes

Hidden conditions are discovered

Additional materials or labor are needed

Written approval may be required before performing additional work.


5. Payments & Deposits

For most projects:

Material deposits may be required before work begins

Labor is due upon project completion or as outlined in your agreement

Larger jobs may require progress payments

Failure to pay may result in:

Stoppage of work

Lien filings (if applicable by state law)

Legal or collection actions


6. Subcontractors & Liability

MREO may engage licensed and verified subcontractors for labor execution. Subcontractors are responsible for:

Labor performance

Craftsmanship

Repairs related to their work

Compliance with code & safety requirements

MREO provides a Service Coordination Guarantee, ensuring:

Communication between client & trades

Reasonable issue resolution support

Quality standards according to industry norms

However, MREO is not liable for damages or delays caused directly by subcontractors or unforeseen property conditions.


7. Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

Provide accurate job details

Provide property access during scheduled work

Ensure pets/children are secured for safety

Disclose known hazards (mold, asbestos, electrical issues, etc.)

MREO may refuse unsafe work conditions.


8. Permits & Code Compliance

If work requires permits:

Client will be informed beforehand

Client may be responsible for permit fees unless otherwise agreed


9. Warranties & Claims

Labor warranties are handled by the performing subcontractor unless stated otherwise in writing.
Warranty does not cover:

Misuse or neglect

Acts of God

DIY modifications after completion

Claims must be reported within a reasonable period (typically 7–30 days depending on work type).


10. Texting & Communications Consent

By submitting your phone number, requesting a quote, or messaging MREO, you consent to receive:

SMS booking confirmations

Project updates

Estimates & invoices

Promotional offers (optional)

Messaged data rates may apply.


11. SMS Opt-Out

You may opt out of promotional or automated SMS at any time by replying:

STOP

You may also request project or estimate-specific communication removal by contacting us directly.

Opting out of SMS may affect scheduling or coordination if it is the primary communication method.


12. No Professional Advice

MREO does not provide professional engineering, architectural, or financial advice unless expressly licensed for that service. Consult qualified professionals when needed.


13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MREO is not responsible for:

Delays caused by suppliers, trades, weather, or property conditions

Loss of use or profit

Structural or hidden defects

Damages caused by subcontractors outside our coordination responsibility

Your use of services is at your own risk.


14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of (Insert State). Any disputes shall be handled in that jurisdiction.


15. Changes to Terms

MREO may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
